the powers conferred on the Club therein are expressly conferred
on the directors of B.D.O.C. Ltd.
1. Conduct
on club premises is governed by the Rules set out below. All
members must sign these Rules and agree to be bound by them.
Any full member who breaks any of the club rules or whose conduct
is considered prejudicial to the good order and running of the
club may have their membership terminated subject to having
had a verbal followed by a written warning from the directors.
If desired a member may appeal their case to the general membership
2. Membership:
Membership is provisional for 12 months from the date of acceptance,
and the Club may terminate membership at any time within this
period without being required to furnish reasons. At the end
of the provisional period, the Club will grant full membership
unless there are reasons to the contrary. Members' children
who wish to continue membership on reaching the age of 18 years
must apply for membership in their own right at a reduced fee,

the age of 18 have no right of access to the club unless they
themselves are members.

advance.
4. Conduct:
The following guidelines outline an attitude that is binding
on members to promote the safety and enjoyment of our club.
The principles to be followed for the harmony of the caravan
site and the club in general are:
- Respect for the views of others; Respect yourself; Respect
naturism; Respect the environment.
- Keep a quiet club - keep radios etc. turned down low - no
loud sounds but quietness after 10.30 p.m. - except for special
club events in the marquee.
- Games must not infringe on other member's space. Do nothing
to impair the enjoyment of others.
- Parents or guardians must be responsible for their children,
respect the privacy of other and not play around other pitches
without approval.
- All banks must be respected and shortcuts avoided; everyone
must keep to recognized paths.
- Children and young adults can feel embarrassed at times on
a naturist site and leniency regarding dress is accepted, however
it should be stressed that the pool is 100% naturist at all
times. When young family members reach 18+ they should decide
whether to become adult members in their own right, of our club,
and accept the rules of the club.
5. Hygiene: Towels or clothing must be placed on club-owned
chairs before sitting while unclothed.
6. Body jewellery:
Genital body jewellery can be offensive and must not be worn
on club premises.
7. Photography:
Cameras, including Video Cameras, may not be used on club premises
without the permission of the Club. Taking pictures using a
video mobile phone is not acceptable at BDOC. Photos may be
taken at specified club functions. No photographs may be published
in any form without authorisation from the Publicity Officer
who will maintain a list of permissions. Members abusing this
rule will be asked to remove the equipment from site.
8. Swimming pool:
Children are allowed in pools only when directly supervised
by a parent. For safety reasons, no member should use the pool
while alone.
9. Club site maintenance:
It is the duty of all members to protect the property of the
club, including trees, shrubs, plants and wildlife. Members
may not prune or cut down bushes or trees, undertake groundwork
alterations or any work on services (gas, electricity, oil,
water and heating) except with the prior and express approval
of the Club.
10. Car parking:
Because space is limited, only one car or other vehicle is allowed
per family unit or per caravan. Members with more than one vehicle
may have to park excess vehicles outside the club site. All
vehicles (including motor homes, caravans, car, trailers, vans
etc.) must be fully insured by the owner and comply with national
legislation while on site, as the club is not to be held liable
for any claim however caused.
11. Pets:
Dogs are allowed but must be notified to the club. Dogs must
be kept under control at all times and must be exercised off
site; any accidents must be cleaned immediately to the satisfaction
of others. Dogs not behaving themselves will be banned from

must be given to their general welfare and needs, making certain
your pet does not cause a nuisance to other members.

consideration, particularly with respect to noise, of those
with caravans nearby.

It should not be given to anybody working on site without the

of members or visitors.
14. Caravan pitches:
C1. Caravan pitches
are allocated for rental for a period of 12 months from 1st
April to 31st March, and are renewable if desired. Only club
members and their children who are either under 18 years or
full members are included in the agreement. Members may not
allow others to use their caravans or pitches without the prior
express agreement of the club; children of members who are not
full members of the club in their own right may use their caravans
or pitches only when accompanied by their parents.
C2. Each pitch comprises
the area delimited by boundaries set by the club. Members must
ensure that their caravan and car remain always within their
boundaries and ensure the regulation distance between caravans
on adjacent pitches, as instructed by the Club. Members may
not alter the boundaries or markings of a pitch. Only one caravan
is allowed per pitch. No structures may be erected without the
prior and express permission; the Club may order the removal
of structures erected without this permission.
C3. The size of caravans
accepted on the site may be restricted as advised in each case
by the Club. Members with an existing caravan who change to
a caravan of larger size must obtain the prior and express permission
of the Club; this permission will not be withheld without good
reason.
C4. Members whose
occupancy of a pitch lapses due to non-payment of fees or for
any other reason must remove their caravan from the site no
later than 31st March of the current year, or as otherwise directed
by the Club. By signing these rules, members expressly authorise
the Club to remove the caravans of members whose occupancy lapses
but who do not remove their caravans in good time. In this case
the cost of removal will be borne by the member in question
through the club selling the caravan if possible.
C5. Members must
use their caravan on a regular basis, otherwise tenancy of the
pitch will be terminated.
C6. On relinquishing
a site, there is no right for the member to sell the caravan
in situ. All rubbish and unwanted goods must be cleared from
the site. If the slabs are removed, the pitch must be made good.
C7. The maximum size
for gas bottles is 15 kg, with not more than four bottles allowed
per pitch.
C8. To comply with
regulations, the club site will be closed from 2nd January to
2nd February each year. All awnings are to be made secure, especially
during this period; visits to check caravans for security reasons
are permitted, but must be cleared with the directors in advance.
Members must not use or stay in their caravans during this period.
